Kenneth Daniel “Danny” Brown, Sr. 69, of Waynesboro, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at his residence.
He was born in Waynesboro on October 5, 1946, son of Willie Leone Parish McGann Brown and the late Joseph Edward Brown, Sr.
He was the patriarch of the family and was a strong willed rock of a man. Danny was an extremely loved father and grandfather.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph E. Brown, Jr; a sister, Linda Leone Brown; and a great grandchild, Tracy E. Hite, III.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Kenneth “D.J.” Daniel Brown, Jr. and Dawn “Miki” Michelle Brown Wilt and husband Timothy; grandchildren, Kenneth “Daniel” Brown, III and wife Megan, Destony Dawn Tomlin, Darrell W. Tomlin, Jr., Kennett “Blayne” Brown and wife Sarah, and Courtney B. Brown; great grandchildren, Hannah Brown, Courtney Brown, Jordan Hite, Evelyn Brown, and Payton Smith; siblings Mary Brown Gibson and husband Linwood and children, Frances Jane Toma and children, and Ronald “Andy” Andrew Brown and wife Karin and children. He is also survived by his cousin and best friend, Dee Sutton and many cousins and extended family.
