Robert Glenn Howell, 93, born on December 15, 1922 in Sawtelle, California, passed away September 5, 2016. He resided in Glendale, California, at the time of his passing.∼December 15, 1922 - September 5, 2016 Robert Glen Howell passed away on the afternoon of Monday, September 5th. He was born in Sawtelle, California, served in the Air Force during WWII as a sergeant and airplane armorer, and earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Agriculture at the University of Berkeley at the age of 27. He worked for the Department of Agriculture at Los Angeles County from 1951 to 1982 and worked part of those years (1967 to 1982) as Deputy Agricultural Commissioner. He was a member of the Masons and also enjoyed archery, hunting and fishing with his family and friends. He retired in 1982 at his home in Glendale and then started a pest control home business called Trapper Howell where he worked until he was 90 years old. He and his wife Marilyn were married for 54 years and did a lot of traveling and working together. He is survived by his son and daughter Bruce and Debbie Howell, daughter-in-law Barbara Howell and grandchildren Shawn and Sheldon Howell and great grandson Xavier Luc Howell. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.Funeral will be held on October 7th, 2016, at 2:30pm at the Church of the North in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills.
