FAMILY SEARCH 2023. When Milo C Andrus was born on 21 May 1922, in Spanish Fork, Utah, Utah, his father, Alma Archibald Andrus, was 38 and his mother, Martha Alsina Marcusen, was 36. He married Geraldine Larsen on 26 June 1946, in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah. He lived in Spanish Fork Election Precinct, Utah, Utah in 1940. He registered for military service in 1941. He died on 6 June 2010, in Spanish Fork, Utah, Utah, at the age of 88, and was buried in Spanish Fork, Utah, Utah.

PASSAGE. Milo C. Andrus, a member of the "Greatest Generation" died on D-Day, June 6, 2010. Milo was born on May 21, 1922 and raised on the family farm in Leland by parents Alma Archibald and Martha Marcusen Andrus. He graduated from Spanish Fork High School and attended BYU. Milo married Geraldine Larsen Andrus, on June 26, 1946 in the Salt Lake Temple. His sweetheart, Gerry, passed away December 18, 2009, leaving Milo with a broken heart.

Milo was a proud military man, serving in the Pacific Theater of World War II and in the Korean War. After his military service, Milo worked full time for the Utah National Guard. He was also a licensed funeral director. Milo was a volunteer fireman for Spanish Fork City and was proud of over 50 years membership in the Fireman's Association. In his younger years he was a member of the Jaycees and Chamber of Commerce. Milo served on the Spanish Fork Library Board and was a lifetime member of the Provo Elks Lodge.

Milo is survived by his children: Pat and Frank Christianson, Terry and Sandi Andrus, Janette and Curtis Fowden, Todd and Carolyn Andrus, Marty and Rod Warren, and his much loved 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, two sisters, and a grandson, Thom Warren.

A viewing will be held on Friday, June 11, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Walker Family Mortuary, 187 South Main, Spanish Fork. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 12, 1010 at 12:00 Noon in the Spanish Fork 1st Ward Chapel, 310 East Center Street, Spanish Fork, with a viewing prior to services from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery, with full Military and Fireman's Association honors.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Milo's name may be made to the Spanish Fork Library Remembrance Fund, 49 South Main, Spanish Fork, Utah 84660 OR take a veteran to dinner to say thank you.
