NEWPORT NEWS - Hazel F. Weber, 84, a native of Candler, N.C., and a Peninsula resident for 48 years, died Saturday, Feb. 6.
Mrs. Weber was a member of First Christian Church, Hampton.
Survived by her husband, Harry S. Weber; two daughters, Freda C. Mainwaring of Edison, N.J., and Nancy L. Gillespie of Pensacola, Fla.; two sons, Arthur D. Moore of Hayes and Rev. Charles R. Moore of Gastonia, N.C.; a sister, Barbara M. Creech of Newport News; a brother, James D. McElrath of Boone, N.C.; 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Visitation from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Peninsula Funeral Home. Funeral 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home by Dr. Lewis A. McPherren. Burial in Peninsula Memorial Park.
