The former Miss Davis was born in St. Louis, May 9, 1887, to George and Josephine Gaurdhesner Davis. On March 4, 1921, she married Q.K. Ashcraft who died Feb. 13, 1978.
She belonged to the First Christian faith.
Mrs. Ashcraft is survived by a son, Howard Ashcraft, Brownwood; two daughters, Mrs. Addie Jo Adams, Cape Girardeau and Mrs. Mary Kynion, Brownwood, a half brother, Gilbert Watson, Flint, Mich.; four granchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Morgan Funeral Home in Advance where friends may call after 4:30 p.m. today.
Service will be at the funeral home at 3 p.m. Friday, with the Rev. Eugene Payne of Marble Hill officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park near Advance.
