Riley Hunter Rice was granted his angel wings on Friday, Sept. 16, 2016. Memorial service: was held 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19, at Creekwood Church in Mansfield. Riley was born on March 30, 1995, in Fort Worth. Riley's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time for which one lives. His gentle smile could melt the hearts of those around him, his voice and thoughts could always be heard. With Riley's passing we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated. Although we will miss him every day, especially his winning smile and his love for many outdoor sports, including fishing, motocross, football and baseball, he will forever remain in our hearts. Survivors: Riley is survived by his loving parents, Johnnie Lee Rice II of Newark and Charles and Michelle Cathcart of Arlington; sister, Emily Aguilar of Hurst; nephew, Wyatt Michael Meadows of Hurst; grandmother, Camilla Puckett of Arlington; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
