On June 11, 1908 as Percy H. Willis, he married Amelia Hager at the First Presbyterian Church in Wilmington, Delaware.

Percy H. Willis was a native of the District of Columbia. He had been in the building and real estate business for more than 25 years with offices at 1131 Vermont Avenue Northwest. He was a veteran of the Air Corps in World War I. He was a member of the American Legion in Bethesda, Maryland and the Board of Trade in the District. He was also a member of the Masonic order. He died at age 59 on Wednesday, May 38, 1947 at Suburban Hospital after a brief illness. He had retired from the real estate business a few years ago due to ill health. Survivors included his widow, Amelia Hager Willis of Bethesda; two daughters: Mrs. Doris W. Stowe of Chevy Chase, Maryland and Mrs. Percelia Wilson of North Chevy Chase, Maryland and one son, Byron Henry Willis [born 1914] of Landover Hills, Maryland. Services were held at the Pumphrey Funeral Home at 7557 Wisconsin Avenue in Bethesda. Interment was at Rock Creek Cemetery.
