Mr. Lula V. Woodward, 84, Long Beach, Calif., formerly of Girard, died Wednesday evening in Charter Suburban Hospital, Paramont, Calif.
She was born Oct. 30, 1902, in Danville, Pa., the daughter of Edwin and Iva Reese.
Her husband, Ernest Woodard, preceded her in death.
A California resident five years, Mrs. Woodward was a member of Girard Bible Baptist Church.
Before retiring 14 years ago, she was a receptionist for Youngstown Building Material Corp.
Survivors include a son, Thomas R. of Liberty township; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A son, Robert, four brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
A memorial service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Blackstone Churchill Road Funeral Home, Girard.
