Alvina J. "Vinie" Sinclair, 95, passed away on a Friday evening, at the Bishop Noa Home where she was a patient for only two days.

She was the daughter of William and Amelia (Grandchamp) Smith and was a lifelong Gladstone resident and a lifelong member of All Saints Church.

She married Adam Sinclair in 1932 and he preceded her in death in 1972.

Vinie's presence in the old house on the Buckeye Hill will be sorely missed. At Vinie's house there was always a cup of coffee, a good meal, and room for one more at the table. To those who moved away, coming home to Gladstone was coming to Vinie's house. There was always a card game, a lot of laughter, and you could dance in her kitchen. The stories told around the old table would fill volumes. She leaves them as her legacy to all of us.

Vinie Sinclair's survivors include: three daughters, Janet (Herb) Lundin, Arlene Bloomquist, May Ann (Mike) Vito; three sons, Dan (Eunice) Sinclair, Bill Sinclair, Joel Sinclair; two sisters, Betty Simpson, Dotty Hogan; one brother, Jim Rockwell; son-in-law, Tom (Gina) Viviano.; 32 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews; and a good friend and wonderful neighbor, Molly Cassidy.

In addition to her husband, Adam, she was preceded in death by three sons; Neil, Bert, and Patrick Sinclair; a daughter, Margo Viviano; and by a son-in-law, Melvin Bloomquist.

Visitation at the Skradski Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial at All Saints Church with Rev. Fr. Arnold Grambow officiating. Burial in Fernwood Cemetery.
