Nadine L. Andrus, 79, of 710 West Third Street, Lock Haven, went home to be with her Lord on December 24, 2010 after being a patient at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
She was born in Salladasburg on March 2, 1931 to the late William S. and Ann E. Reading Smith.
Nadine was united in marriage August 29, 1951 to Richard A. Andrus who survived.
Nadine was a graduate of the Lock Haven High School class of 1949, was past president of the Lock Haven Elks Auxiliary and had served as president of Lock Haven 4th ward election board.
She enjoyed camping, reading and collecting eggcups to add to her extensive collection acquired through out the years. She was also a member of the Covenant United Methodist Church, Lock Haven.
She was preceded in death by a brother, William Smith, October 9, 2006.
Memorial Services for Nadine L. Andrus were held in the Yost-Gedon Funeral Home, Lock Haven. Officiating was by the Reverend Dr. Jonathan G. West of the Covenant United Methodist Church.

White gladioli and candelabra provided the altar setting in the First Church of Christ last evening as Miss Nadine L. Smith and Air Force Sgt. Richard A. Andrus, both of Lock Haven, were united in marriage.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William S. Smith, 21 North Henderson Street. Sgt. Andrus is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Manuel B. Andrus, 68 North Jones Street.
The Reverend Howard Fitzgerald of Altoona, uncle of the bride, officiated at the double-ring ceremony at 8 p, m. Wedding music was presented by Miss Helen Keister, organist, and Robert Livingston, soloist. "The Lord's Prayer" was sung by Mr. Livingston as part of the service.

Escorted to the alter by her father, the bride was attired in strapless, ballerina-length gown of white net over white satin, with a three-quarter length cutaway jacket of white Chantilly lace. Her fingertip veil of illusion was attached to a Juliet cap of white lace, caught with white satin bows. She carried a white layer book adorned with two white orchids, and a shower of baby ribbon.
The maid of honor, Miss Lou Andrus, sister of the bridegroom, wore a strapless, ballerina-length gown of pale aqua net over pink taffeta, with a matching stole. Her half-hat was of pink net with pompons. She carried a mixed bouquet of roses and baby's breath.
William S. Smith, Jr., was best man, and Manuel L. Andrus and Robert W. Andrus, brothers the bridegroom, ushered.
TO LIVE IN KANSAS
After the ceremony, a reception was held In the social rooms of the church for approximately 90 guests.
A graduate of the Lock Haven High School, the bride has been employed as secretary for Peddle Hardware. Sgt. Andrus, also a graduate of the Lock Haven High School, is a veteran of three years in the armed forces, having served two years in Alaska.
The couple plans to leave September 5 for Wichita, Kansas, where the bridegroom is now stationed.
