Ronald accepted Christ at an early age by being baptized at Miles Memorial C.M.E. Church. Growing up and being educated in Marshall, Texas which allowed him to attend Marshall Public Schools. He went on to further his education and University of Kentucky, and a graduate at the University of Oregon in Philosophy. He later continued his studies in Law at the University of Oregon.
He went on to serve in the US Army where he became an expert marksman. Ronald's career achievements included tenure at Langston University, Oklahoma State University and Texas Southern University where he retired.
