Elbert W. Wiles, 85, Oshkosh, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at Northpoint Medical and Rehabilitation. He was born on Sept. 22, 1926, a son of Claude John and Myrtle (Brabizon) Wiles.
Elbert served his country in the U.S. Navy on the USS Herschel from 1944 to 1946.
He was survived by his wife, Dianne; a son, Rick; daughters, Linda, Jacqueline and Deborah; five stepsons, Gilbert Bawker, Gerald Bawker, Randy Davis, Robert Davis, Brian Davis and stepdaughter, Nancy Larson; two brothers, Jim Wiles and Bob Wiles; sisters, Doris Chartrand and Margaret Wilson; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by first wife, Joan; second wife, Jane; third wife, Mary; sisters, Gloria Wiles and Betty Wiles and a granddaughter, Andrea Schabloski.
