Mark Ryan Hoffman, age 42, of Middletown, DE, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2015.

Born in Galveston, TX on April 3, 1973, Mark was a son of George W. Hoffman, Sr. and Janice (Muxo) Spayd. He made his career as a landscape manager with Countryside Nursery in Bear, DE for 15 years.

Mark was passionate about horticulture and anything having to do with the outdoors. In his leisure time, he enjoyed collecting wine and reading. Mark was a devoted son, father, brother, and uncle and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, George, Sr. and a sister, Kristee Allison. Mark is survived by his mother, Janice D. Spayd; daughters, Brittany A. Hoffman and Autumn L. Hoffman; brothers, Steve Muxo (Chrissy), William Michael Hoffman and Brian Hoffman, Sr. (Lisa); and nieces and nephews, Ashley, Nicole, Brian, Jr., Connor, Chase, and Kirstin Hoffman and Sydnee Muxo.

A funeral service will be held at 6 pm on Saturday evening, September 5, 2015, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a visitation for family and friends will be held from 4 pm until 6 pm. Interment will be private. - See more at:
