"Fayette Bristol of Portageville died Saturday evening, after a long illness. He was about 75 years of age and had resided in Portageville for fifty years. He was an assessor of the town for eighteen years and at his death held the office of justice of the peace. He leaves a wife and one son, the present proprietor of the Bristol house.
