Lenetta Ellen Frey, 75, Odessa, formerly of Independence, died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2000, at the New Haven Nursing Home, Odessa. Mrs. Frey was born Nov. 30, 1925, in Kansas City.
She married Joseph Marion Frey on April 20, 1963, in Kansas City, who preceded her in death on March 26, 1983. She was a member of Trinity Bible Service Church, Kansas City.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Jo Wuellner, and two brothers, Alpha M. Cooley and Arthur VonStrough.
Her survivors include four daughters and two sons-in-law, Patricia Ridenour, Arcadia, Kan., Ellen and Ron Rakeshaw, Frontenac, Kan., Janice and Scott Hackley, Odessa, and Margaret Weir, Pittsburg, Kan.; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jack and Joyce Frey, Holden, Mo., Albert and Sue Frey, Kansas City, North, and Alpha and Violet Cox, Kansas City; 30 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and her former husband, Joe Edward Cox.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Ralph O. Jones Chapel, Odessa. Burial will be in Greenton Cemetery, Odessa. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society.
