She was born in Hamilton Township, Adams County, and was a daughter of the late Harry and Velva (Fissel) Lillich.
Mrs. Lerew was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, East Berlin and had been a nurse at the Brethren Home Community for over 20 years.
Her husband of 66 years, the late J. Calvin Lerew, departed this life January 8, 1999, and survivors include one son, John C. Lerew, Jr. of East Belin; two daughters, Jacquelyn L. Messinger and Debra A. King, both of East Berlin; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; one brother, Daniel Lillich of Hanover; two sisters, Katherine Grim of York and Jeanette Utz of Hanover.
Margaret was also pedeceased by one son, William H. Lerew; one grandson, Joel E. Messinger; two brothers, Alvin and John Lillich; and one sister, Grace Weaver.
