Gertrude was married to my First Cousin Luther Atterson. Her parents were Benjamin Franklin and Emma Adeline Collier-Prouse. The United States Social Security Death Index verified Gertrude's death. All I could find int he Newspaper was from the Terre Haute Saturday Spectator, October 21, 1967, "Gertrude S. Atterson, 76, 235 McCalister Lane, thrombosis." Family members tell me that Gertrude is in fact buried in Roselawan next to her husband Luther.
