Effie “Louise” Peck, 83, of Paden City, WV, passed away October 26, 2010 at home.

She was born September 6, 1927, a daughter of the late John Henthorn and Effie Jeanette Gatrell Henthorn.

Effie was a homemaker and a caregiver. She was a member of the Sistersville Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by daughters, Teresa (Gilbert) Weekley of Paden City, Robin (Rick) Fluharty of Sistersville and Marilyn (David) Moffitt of New Martinsville; sons, Gerald Peck of Alliance, OH and Donald Wayne Peck, Sr. of Paden City; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Peck (Joel Prosser); grandchildren, Melissa Weekley (Jeffrey Prowse), Taylor Paige Weekley, Arthur (Tonya) Peck, Jason (Sara) Peck, David Moffitt, Jr., Jessica Peck, Donald (Dawn) Peck, Jr., Stephanie Peck, Heather Peck, Jeremy Peck; great grandchildren, Emma Mae Prowse, Madison Leigh Prowse, Joella Peck, Joshua Peck, Tyona Moffitt, Nicholas Moffitt, Mary Moffitt, Kolby Moffitt, Makaya Moffitt, Madeline Peck Tarnecki, Hailey Peck, Jeremiah Thomas and Austin Peck.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Peck, son and daughter.

Services will be Saturday at 11:00 am at Myers Funeral with Reverend Abe Cowgill officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Myers Funeral Home. Interment will be at Friendly Cemetery.
