Rita (Nelson) Adamavich, 76, of Gurney, Wisconsin passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at the Valley View Health & Rehab in Moberly, Missouri with her family by her side.
Rita was born to George Malin and Verl (Pearson) Nelson on June 6, 1940 in Duchesne, Utah. On April 4, 1960, she and Robert Walter Adamavich Sr. were married and celebrated 50 years of marriage before he preceded her in death in 2010.
Also preceding her in death were her sons: Robert Walter Adamavich Jr. and Joseph Malin Adamavich.
She is survived by her loving daughters: Jody (Don) Johnson of West Jordan, Utah, Terri Soare of Moberly, Missouri, and Laura (Harry) Cunningham of Moberly, Missouri; brothers: Marlin (Dorothy) Nelson of Bountiful, Utah and Delmon (Pam) Nelson of Clearfield, Utah; grandchildren: Melanie (Derek) Boyle, Aaron (Nicole) Cunningham, Shawn (Kimberly) Cunningham, Christopher (Janelle) Cunningham, Matthew (Larisa) Cunningham, Benjamin Cunningham, Kathleen Soare, Sarah Soare, Ron (Brittany) Talbot, Andrew (Cammari) Talbot, Emily (Kevin) Searcy, Joseph Adamavich, Dustin (Jaimie) Adamavich, and Ross Adamavich; step-grandchildren: Mark (Andrea) Johnson, Margaret Johnson, Clint Johnson, Virginia Johnson, and William Johnson; great-grandchildren: LaVard, Cory, Carissa, Landon, Ky, Kate, Jase, Charlie, and Henry; step-great-grandchildren: Quinn and Desiree; cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A graveside service will take place at a later date at the Edgewood Cemetery in Gurney, Wisconsin. Cremation has been accorded by Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly.
