Jack Adams, 71, died at home on December 16th, 2006 in the arms of his loving wife, after a courageous battle with cancer. Jack always did for others, putting their needs and happiness first.

Jack earned a B.S. Degree in chemical engineering from the University of Georgia and a Master's Degree from Duke University. He was a veteran of the Korean War. In his lifetime, Jack enjoyed many careers including working as a chemical engineer in the petro-chemical industry, owning a motel, two restaurants, an insurance agency, an advertising business, and working as a career consultant. Jack held a pilot's license and loved flying. He also enjoyed boating, fishing, traveling, swimming, SCUBA diving, gourmet dining, dancing, meeting new challenges, and living life to the fullest. As a member of St. Elizabeth's Parish in Goshen, he served both as a lector and as a Eucharist Minister. He was also a member of All Saints Parish in Burlington.

He also leaves behind many loving family members and caring friends, including his staunch supporter, John Dodsworth.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Thursday in All Saints Catholic Church, High St., Burlington, with burial following in Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, in Arneytown.
