Pastor Peggy J. Whited, 75, passed away Friday, September 30, 2016 at her residence.
She was born December 1, 1940 in Muncie to Harry E. and Lena M. (Gilland) Landers.

Peggy had worked 30 years at the 15th & Hoyt Avenue Fruit Market.

She was a member of the Body of Christ Church in Muncie and she had spent her life serving the Lord.
Peggy is survived by her husband, Donald Whited; son, Donald (Jamie) Ring; step-sons, David (Carrie) Whited and Ronnie Whited; daughters, Debbie Ring; special niece/daughter, Becky Landers; step-daughter, Tammie Whited; special grandchildren, Holly (Mike) Barnes, Jakob Barnes, Haley Barnes, Ryan Landers, Seth (companion, Hayley) Landers, Katie Bug-Landers, Tyler Ring, P. J. (companion, Corey) Ring, and Mia and Brendan; five additional grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends; special niece, Beth (Gary) Hollowell and their children, Daniel (Cassie) Wilson, and their children, Rylie and Kolten, and Heather and Kristen Hollowell.

Preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Rebecca Landers, Carolyn A. Landers, Norma A. Brown, Iris M. Bright, and Elizabeth (Lib) Vincent; brothers, Harry (Bud) Landers, Robert C. Landers, John E. Landers, and Gale W. Landers.
Services October 4, 2016 Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, IN 47304.
Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Daleville
