He married Alice Simmons Wilcox in Cook County, 23 Feb 1888. They had a son Jesse, Jr. on 24 Aug 1895 in Waldron, Stark County, IL. Waldron is located near Toulon or Bradford, IL. Jesse Jr. lived in Cuba from 1902 - 1918 with wife Edith A & daughter Doris A who was born in Cuba in 1916. Evidently his mother Alice lived in Cuba also and died there. There is a letter from Jesse's brother-in-law Perle V Jumper stating she was later moved and reburied in the US. Mr. Jumper married Florence Barlow, dau of Alice and Jesse, Sr. It is said Mr. Jumper is also buried in Cuba. Florence died in Multnomah, Oregon. They had another daughter Alta who married a Neill and buried in Dauphin, Pennsylvania.
