BROWNSVILLE — Services for J. B. Pugh, 65, of 310 N. Church St. in Brownsville will be at 2 p.m. today at Lower Salem Baptist Church with the Rev. W.R. Hill officiating. Burial will be in Lower Salem Cemetery with Rawis Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Pugh died Friday at Veterans Administration Hospital in Memphis after a long illness. He was a deacon and trustee at Lower Salem Baptist Church.
He was a lifelong resident of Haywood County and was a farmer. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Virginia Pugh of Brownsville; and a brother, Jodie Pugh of Brownsville.
