Michael Jonclair Goodridge, age 7 and his family were among the eight United States military personnel and relatives, stationed in Germany, who died in a cable car fire at Kitzsteinhorn mountain in Kaprun, Austria. At least 155 people died. He, his parents, Major Michael C. Goodridge, age 35 and Jennifer H. Goodridge, age 35 and his younger brother, Kyle, age 5, were among those who went on a military affiliated ski trip with the Wuerzburg Ski Club to Austria over Veteran's Day Weekend. Michael's teachers said he was a model student whose favorite subject was math. He wanted to be a chef when he grew up.
