Gordon E. Hazelberg, 85, of Cumberland died Sunday, December 10, 2006 at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire.

He was born October 10, 1921 in Solon Springs, to Miles and Ida (Johnson) Hazelberg.

He was married in Cumberland on May 17, 1948 to Josephine Tempesta who preceded him in death on November 24, 1995. Gordon was also preceded in death by one sister, Evelyn Ostrum and three brothers, Dick, Roy and Marion.

Gordon owned and operated a milk route, bartended at Skiddies for a time, and was a field supervisor for Stokley's.

He is survived by one son, George (Linda) Petrangelo of St. Cloud, MN; two daughters, Darlene (Gary) Hausdorf of Cumberland and Judy (Steve) Parmenter of Loretto, MN; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Marceline Anderson and Jean (Al) Ricci, both of Rice Lake and Eleanor Lloyd of Barron and one brother, Henry (Barb) Hazelberg of Cumberland.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 AM Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Cumberland, with Father David Lusson officiating.

Burial was in St. Anthony Cemetery, Cumberland.

Pallbearers were Jennifer Clark, Laura Koski, Adam Parmenter, Nick Parmenter, Jack Tempesta and Elaine Tempesta.

Military honors were accorded by Anderson-Thomson Post #98 American Legion, Cumberland.
