Born June 4, 1922 in Anson, Texas to James Luther Beasley and Etta (Scott) Beasley, Harold moved to Abilene in 1954. He owned B. J. Well Service and Scotty's Place, and was the manager of American Legion and Moose Lodge. A Marine Corps veteran of WWII, Harold was a lifetime member of VFW, Amvets, L.O.O.M., and American Legion. He was an avid bingo player.
He was preceded in death by five sisters, one brother, two wives, Cora Lee (Doby) Beasley and Dorothy Beasley, and a grandson, Terry Cooley, Sr.
Survivors include his last wife, Jane Beasley; four daughters and their husbands, Kay & Bill Foster, Kristi Beasley, Dorothy & Greg Padgett, and Debbie & Scott Wristen; three sons and their wives, Larry & Pam Beasley, Daine & Cindy Beasley, and Joe Killgore. He is also survived by a brother, J. L. Beasley, 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
