Funeral services for Beverly Ann Ross, 55, Spring Hill, were Friday, Jan. 26, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Paola. Burial was at the Spring Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Ross died Monday, Jan. 22, 2001, at the Olathe Medical Center.

She was born May 5, 1945, in Parkville, Mo., the daughter of Mirrel Edmond and Alma Frances Rose Blauvelt.

She was originally from Kansas City, Kan., and later moved to Spring Hill. She attended high school in Jarbelo, and Henry's Beauty School in Kansas City, Kan. She lived in the rural Gardner area for 20 years.

She worked as a bookkeeper for her husband's construction business and owned and operated a beauty shop out of her home.

She attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Paola, and she was a Sunday school teacher and the church librarian.

Mrs. Ross was a school aid at Oak Grove School in Kansas City, Kan., and also home-schooled three of her children.

She married Robert Louis Ross in Parkville, Mo., in 1962.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Frances, and one grandson.

Survivors include her parents, Bonner Springs; four sons, Robert William Ross, Shawnee, Gary Lee Ross, Wellsville, David Wadale Ross, Mission, and Trebor Wiley Ross, Spring Hill; two daughters, Beverly Ross, Olathe, and Shannon Lynn Ross, Lenexa; three brothers, Edmond Blauvelt, Prairie Creek, Ill., Donald Blauvelt, Muscotah, Okla., and Henry Hudson Blauvelt, Kansas City, Kan.; three sisters, Lucille Garst, Saltillo, Texas, Betty Ray, Lawrence, Bonnie Ray, Bonner Springs, Judy Karnowski, Leavenworth; and six grandchildren.
