Parents - Clair F. Sr. and Mary Margaret (Miller) Bee

Graduated from the NY Military Academy in 1967

Married his wife on April 3, 1971

Veteran - Served as a Sergeant, was with the Military Police as well as a Detective with the Criminal Investigative Department in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was also a recipient of the Purple Heart and 2 bronze stars.

Employed with the NYS Department of Corrections. Graduated from the US Army Missile and Munitions School for Hazardous Devices at Red Stone Alabama, member of the International Association of Bomb Technicians and Investigators and helped establish the Department of Corrections K-9 unit and worked closely with the NYS Police Bomb Disposal Unit, as a regional bomb technician for the FBI. He was a weapons specialist and training instructor for Firearms and Chemical Agents and part of the CERT team. AT the time of his retirement in 2006, he was the Assistant Commissioner of Corrections. After retirement he was a partner of BeeSecure LLC.

Survived by his wife; 4 children and their spouses; nine grandchildren and a nephew
