Roe Thomas Absher, 78, died at the Casey Hospital on Saturday evening following a long illness. He had been a tubercular victim, but he died of other causes.
He was born on April 24, 1882, the son of Joshua and Mary Jane Thomas Absher.
He is survived by his wife and four children. The children are Mrs. Mary Gregory, Danville; Mrs. Pauline Miller, Clementsville; and Mrs. Ruth Reese and Mrs. Gracie Whited, both Cincinnati. There are five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Burial was at Austin Cemetery on Riffe Creek.
