One of my Child hood friends passed away yesterday.
When I was about 8 years old we lived in a house at 888 Edgewood Ave. This house had two apartments in it. And me and my sisters lived on the right side looking in and Gail and her sisters and brothers lived on the left side.
The childhood passed away And I seen Gail over the years. And we spoke a few times. But we never become friends like we were when we were kids.
But still, I cannot help feeling a smart of me is now gone.

Wanda Gail Scott, 59, of Hapeville, died Sunday, October 09, 2016.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents, Willis Howard Scott and Geraldine Harper Scott, and a sister, Cynthia Johnson.
She is survived by her companion, Gary L. Roberts;
a son, Donald Norred;
sisters, Shelia Scott, and Lisa English;
brothers, Ricky Scott, Anthony Minyard, and Timothy Scott.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 12th at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, with Chaplain Cynthia Mattox officiating.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Donehoo-Lewis Funeral Home, Hapeville.
