Fieldon Lee Parham, 92, longtime resident of Duncan, OK passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016, at his home in Duncan. Fieldon was born August 3, 1924 at Atwood, OK to Lillie and Houston Parham.

He graduated with the Class of 1942 as valedictorian from Atwood High School. Fieldon earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1946. He married Helen C. Agee on October 24, 1946 at Holdenville, OK. She preceded him in death on December 6, 2004. He married Billie Jackson on Jan. 28, 2006.

Fieldon went to work for Halliburton Services following graduating from OU. He then went to work for Goldsmith & Perkins and later became co-owner of Perkins Production Company. He retired as President and co-owner Perkins Energy Company.

Fieldon was a longtime member of First Christian Church, serving as deacon and trustee. He was also a member of and served on the boards for Elks Lodge, Stephens County Humane Society and Simmons Center. Fieldon was active in Rotary for 51 years and was a Paul Harris Fellow. He served on the board for the OIPA, Disciples of Christ Foundation and was a member of the OU Alumni Association.

Fieldon is survived by two daughters, Nancy Roop and husband Jerry of Duncan, OK and Susan Martens and husband Dr. Greg Martens of Madill, OK; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; several nephews; and many other loving family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a daughter, Jane Ann Parham; a brother, Cecil Parham; and four sisters, Atha DeShields Hoyt, Alta Mae Fox, Inez Hancock and Ruth Egan.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 13, 2016 at the First Christian Church with the Rev. Arnold Nelson Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Duncan Cemetery.
