At the age of ten she settled with the family in Pocahontas county north of Rolfe, where she resided for 73 years. She was married on June 24, 1948, to Clarence A. Hosier. He preceded her in death on March 1, 1964. Since that time she has made her home with the Carl Hosier of Plover. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Rolfe for many years.
