Jessie M. Mastel, 79, of Stockton, died of congestive heart failure Saturday in a Stockton convalescent hospital. A native of Montana, Mrs. Mastel had lived in Stockton since 1943. She retired after 20 years as an employee for Stockton Box Co., now know as American Forrest Co. She was a member of the board of governors of the BBB Bird Club. Survivors include two sons ... both of Stockton: a daughter ... of Stockton; eight sisters ... two brothers; six grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Martin Funeral Home, 445 N. American St. Visitation Burial will be at Cherokee Memorial Park.
