Born Whitesides County, Ill. Parents were John Scroggs and Sarah (Peebles) Thompson. Married Louie Janette Morrison 12 March 1882 in Illinois. She died in 1919. He was a farmer and lived in Grant Twp, Jackson, Soldier, KS. They had 5 children, one died at 3 months, Finley Married a Miller/Anderson,He died in Taeny Co, Missouri in 1968, Lynn married Bertha Magers (he is buried at Holton Cemetary)She chose to be buried in Omaha, NE;, Lona married George Chrisman, they both died in Hialeah, FL; Ada married George Lytle and buried at Valley View, St. Marys, KS. Louie and Tommie came from Whiteside Co, Ill, but they are not related to all the Thompsons in Jackson Co, even though some of them also came from Whitesides County Illinois.
