HERTLEIN, Richard John "Dick" 88 of Trotwood, Ohio passed away March 18, 2016 at Bayfront Medical Center, St. Petersburg, FL of natural causes. Dick was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Sophie Hertlein; and infant daughter, Donna Hertlein. Dick is survived by his loving wife, Betty Jean Hertlein, "Jeanie"; daughters Sharon & Ray Barhorst, Brenda & John Eastham, Gwen & Fred Hertlein-Haber, Lynn Hertlein & John Mehall; siblings Clifton & Bonnie Hertlein, Sue Ann & Gene Carl; grandchildren Jacob & Susannah Eastham, J. Lucas & Nicole Eastham, Kyle Richard Erisman & Samantha Fairchild, Sarah Hertlein Haber, Austin Erisman; great-grandchild Carolina Fern Eastham. Dick was a caring, supportive, hardworking craftsman along with God's faithful servant. His wife and family was the true essence of his being. His professional life was spent at General Motors, "Generous Motors", with a focus on engineering and tool making. Dick's memorial service will be Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 9:30am at the Trotwood United Church of Christ, 18 North Broadway, Trotwood, OH 45426.
