Simon Scott 92 years old, a lifelong resident of Missouri and retired farmer, died yesterday at his home in Buckner He had been ill several years. Mr. Scott, a native of Lebanon, had lived in Buckner twenty eight years. He was a member of the Baptist church. He leaves a son, Charles Scott, Buckner; three daughters,Mrs. Eva Childers of the home and Mrs. Hattie Mc Laughlin and Mrs. Alta Toler, both of Buckner; twenty four grand children, forty eight great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Monday at the
Baptist church at Camdenton, Mo.
Parents of Simon Scott were Greenberry Scott and Cynthia Ann Neely Scott. Greenberry and Cynthia were married in Camden County Missouri

The Bangell Dam covered the town of Old Linn Creek Missouri. Many people who had lived in the beautiful hills of the Ozarks gave up the land many of them loved and move to the city.
