John J. Halpin passed away suddenly in New York City on Thursday, May 29, 2014. Lieutenant Halpin was a decorated member of the New York City Fire Department for 28 Years.

He was the beloved husband of Marilyn K. (nee Cassidy). Adored son of the late James and Philomena Halpin (nee Higgins). Loving father of John, James, Virginia and Caroline. Cherished brother of Neil and his wife Debby, Siobhan McPike and her husband Terry and James.

Proud member of the Kerrymen P & B Association, Ancient Order of the Hibernians and the F.D.N.Y Emerald Society.
