Memorial Graveside Service for Sgt. E J Sims 86 of Winnsboro will be held at 10 AM Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Faith Memorial Park Cemetery south of Delhi.
E J was a native of Crowville and spent the majority of his adult life serving in the Military and retired as a Sergeant. E J served in both the Navy and Army.
He is preceded in death by his parents. Orbie Watson Sims Jr. and Mady Coonce Sims; his first wife Katsuko Sims; three brothers and two sisters, Elmer Eugene, Roger Dale and Travis Sims and Marjorie Fisher and Mary Nell Sims.
He is survived by his wife Nita Gail Sims of Winnsboro; a son Edwin Joseph Sims of Sacramento, CA; a daughter Karen Joyce Sims Ward of OR, a brother Kenneth Wayne Sims of TX; four sisters, Laura Jordan of Jackson, MS, Dorothy Marie Sims or MS, Ouida and Angela Sims both of TX and numerous nieces and nephews.
