Graveside services for Richard Earl Cook of Enid, formerly of El Reno, were held Friday, Oct. 14, 2016, in the Calumet Cemetery with Rev. Glen Chapman of First Baptist Church officiating. Services were under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.
Mr. Cook passed away Oct. 13, 2016, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center in Enid. He was born Dec. 15, 1944, in El Reno. Richard had worked as a correctional officer and for the El Reno Fire Department. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era.
Survivors include two sons, Richard R. Cook and wife, Kittie of Eufaula, Ala., and Shawn C. Cook and wife, Jackie of Monroe, N.C.; daughter, Christine Aycoth and husband, Joe of Monroe, N.C.; five grandchildren, Christina Slater, Richard R. Cook, Daniel Cook, Noah Aycoth and Amber Aycoth
