Murial R. Bittner, wife of Daniel Bittner, 730 S. 14th St., died at Good Samaritan Hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack on Thursday evening. She was 73. Born in Lebanon County, she was a daughter of the late George and Mabel Zerbe Reiter. She was a member of St. Stephen's United Church of Christ. She was also a member and past president of the Auxiliary of the Knights Templar. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Earl Bothwell, Lebanon, and James R. Bothwell, Fort Worth, Texas; three grandchildren; Karen, Dianne and Carol Bothwell, Fort Worth; a great-grandson, Danny Carr, Fort Worth; a brother, George Reiter, Texas; two sisters, Betty, wife of Robert Kimmel, and Willa Palkovic, both of Lebanon, and several nieces and nephews. Services were held this morning from the Christman's Funeral Home for Murial R. Bittner, wife of Daniel R. Bittner, 730 S. 14th St. The Rev. Wallace J. Bieber, pastor, of St. Stephen's United Church of Christ, officiated. Interment was in Mount Lebanon Cemetery. Pallbearers were Raymond Clay, Stanton Clay, Rick Eisenhauer, Robert Kimmel, Robert Palkovic and Harry Rarik. [Lebanon Daily News, June 14, 1980, Page 19]
