Mark was the retired owner and operator of Gingrich Memorials in Lebanon and an Army veteran of World War II. A 1944 graduate of Lebanon High School, he lived in Middletown for many years, where he worked for Gingrich Memorials of Middletown. He was a member of Prince Edwin Lodge 486 F&AM in Middletown, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite in Harrisburg and the Middletown American Legion. He was a life member of Elks Lodge 1092, Friendship Fire Company and the Lebanon Senior center. He had over 30 years of service to the community including past president of the Middletown Rotary Club. He was an avid golfer, having shot four holes-in-one on Lebanon County courses.
