She was a member of the St. Mark's United Methodist Church and was a bus driver for the Fort Wayne Community Schools where she retired in 2000 after 27 years of service.
Among survivors are her first husband, Jack Weirick of Fort Wayne; a son, Jesse J. Jauregui of Fort Wayne; two daughters, Deborah Suarez and Samantha Jauregui, both of Fort Wayne; four step-sons, Donald Jauregui of Kemmerer, Wy., Phillip Jauregui of Fort Wayne, William Jauregui of Fort Wayne and J. Robert Jauregui Fort Wayne; two step-daughters, Janet Jauregui of Pheonix, Ariz., and Georgiann Drayer of Woodburn; two grandchildren, Josh (Keisah) Suarez of Decatur and Toni (Brick) Suarez Ehman of Indianapolis; three great-grandchildren, Elise, Dominik and Violet Suarez; a niece, Susan Stoller of Chicago; and a great-niece, Chloe Stoller.
She was preceded in death by a son, Dave Weirick; a daughter, Dawn Weirick; a step-son, Jeff Jauregui; a sister, Susan Fundukian; and a brother, Bill Rigdon.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home. Pastor Chris Gadlage will be officiating. Interment will take place at the Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne, at a later date.
Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, also at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials are to St. Mark's Methodist Church or Hospice Home.
