Elwood George Hunter, 14 years old, son of Mr. and Mrs. A.L. Hunter, 149-16th avenue, East Moline, an East Moline high school student, died at 12:05 o'clock this morning in his home. Death was due to complications.
He was born in South Moline on Feb. 23, 1913.
Surviving are his parents, seven brothers, Raymond, Howard, Wilbur, Clifford, Allen and Donald of East Moline and Russell of Springfield, Ill; three sisters, Alice, Dorothy and Ethel of East Moline, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Little of South Moline and Mrs. Sarah J. Hunter of Moline. He was a member of the Sunday school of the First Methodist church of East Moline.
