Larry W. Anderson, 70, of Ringgold, died Monday, October 17, 2016 in a local health care facility.

He was a retired science teacher from LFO High School after 32 years, and for the past 12 years had been a science teacher at the McCallie School. He was a Deacon at Ringgold First Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife: Cathy Anderson, Ringgold; a son: Larry W. (Katie) Anderson, Jr., Kingsport, TN a brother: Wayne McHarge, New Orleans; 2 sisters: Alta (David) Hook, Chattanooga and Dee Manning, Ringgold, and two grandchildren: Alicia and Silas Anderson.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South with Rev. Eric Kennedy officiating.

In lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ringgold First Baptist Church, 7611 Nashville St., Ringgold, GA 30736.

The family will receive friends from 4 – 8 PM Wednesday at Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
