EDWARD EARL FAIN Edward Earl Fain will be laid to rest on Friday, Oct. 21, 2016 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5646 Lincoln Blvd, Oroville, Ca at 10 am. Ed was born September 20, 1920 in the town of Sedro Woolley, Washington to Martha (Bunny) and George Fain. He move to Mt Shasta City, Ca were Ed attended elementary school and graduated in a class with 15 others students. Ed and his parents found their way to Feather Falls, Ca and settled in Oroville. He attended Junior high school in Oroville were he met his wife to be Lovetta. Ed graduated from Oroville High School in 1938 with track records and honors. Edward and Lovetta were married August 31, 1941 and celebrated 75 years together. They found happiness working and living in Oroville. They had many adventures with their many friends and family they traveled the world with. Edward and Lovetta moved to Sacramento, Ca where their son Eddie Fain was born in Oct 1942. Shortly after that Ed was drafted into the United States Army and sent to France to protect General Patton and General Bradley. He was Honorably discharged in 1945 and returned to Oroville with Lovetta and Ed Jr were he remain for the rest of his years. Most everyone remembers Ed working at Courier's/ Raley's for 31 years. He enjoyed seeing and helping his customers, who he called friends with a smile everyday. Ed built strong relationships with a core group of friends over the years from that experience. He kept those friends close to his family spending many birthdays and holidays together with them. He will be sadly missed by all. Ed has made an impression in so many lives with his acts of random kindness. His life was not based on what you accumulate in life but the legacy of principle and character you leave behind and what you give is what you really keep. He leaves behind his wife, Lovetta who resides at Country Crest in Oroville, Ca: Son, Edward Fain Jr Oroville, Ca: Sister Lois Bowser Visalia, Ca: Granddaughter Sandra Olivieri Sacramento, Ca: Grandson Brad Fain Live Oak, Ca: Great Grandson Tyler Fain Reno. Nv: Great Granddaughter Toya Spinks Sacramento, Ca and 3 Great Great Grand children.
