Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, July 5, 2008, of Mr. “Percy” Frank Affleck of Mount Stewart, aged 63 years. Beloved husband and best friend to Elizabeth “Lee” Affleck (nee Campbell) and dear father and friend to Juanita (Scott) Hughes, Joey Affleck and fiancee Chrissie Handrahan and Paula Affleck. Percy will also be sadly missed but fondly remembered as “Special” Grampie to Ashley, Hannah, Brett, Hope; his mother Gen Affleck (nee Feehan); his brothers and sisters: Clifford (Velma) Affleck, Billy Affleck, Shirley (Brian) MacDonald, Kay Affleck (George Trainor), Allan (Annette) Affleck, Brenda Weatherbie, Barb (Ivan) Feehan, numerous nieces and nephews and members of the Campbell family. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 12:20 Tuesday afternoon, then transferred to St. Andrew’s Church, Mount Stewart, for funeral mass at 1 p.m. Interment to follow in the family plot at St. Andrew’s Parish Cemetery. If so desired memorials in Percy’s memory can be made to St. Andrew’s Parish Cemetery Fund or the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation — Unit 2.
