White River Jct., VT – Roy F. Marble,84, departed this world for God’s waiting arms in heaven Sunday October 16, 2016 at home surrounded by his devoted wife and family.
He was born on August 28, 1932 in Bristol, CT. May 21, 1953 Roy married his life love, Hildred Fern (Reed) Mable [sic]. Together they raised four children.
Roy enjoyed fishing, hunting, working in the yard and attending or watching the Washington Nationals baseball team.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, children, Laura Marble of White River Jct., VT, Roy David Marble of Hebron, MD, Leslie Marble Ashley and her husband, Eugene of Canaan, NH, Debra Marble Richardson and her husband, Dana of Derry, NH, ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held Saturday, October 22 from 3-5pm at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct., VT. A memorial service will follow immediately at 5pm at the funeral home
