Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Maxie Gospel Tabernacle Church for Calvin Robert Bruard, 68, who died October 19, 2016 at Southwind Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Rev. Sigmund Richard will be officiating for the services. Visitation will be held Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to the time of service at Maxie Gospel Tabernacle Church. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Bruard was born in New Orleans and resided in Crowley. He was a master craftsman and his wood working skills and products were exemplary. Calvin will be sincerely missed by his friends around this community.
He is survived by the Privat’s and Nugier’s, his adopted families of Crowley.
Pallbearers will be John Nugier, Danny Nugier, Jason Privat, Scott Privat, Travis Priour, and Jacob Nugier.
