A proud and handsome Irish-American, Mr. Crowley was the founder and president of States General Life Insurance in downtown Dallas, from 1955 until 1980.
He was an avid golfer, and a beloved member of Lakewood Country Club in Dallas, Texas.
He is survived by his daughter, Cydney Marguerite of Dallas, and his sons William Bennett Crowley of Lucas, Texas, Daniel Crowley of Cocoa Beach, Florida, and four grandchildren (Brian Patrick Crowley, Helen Bronwyn Crowley, Shannon Patrick Crowley, and Shawn William Crowley).
