Betty Darlene Craig, 77, passed away October 17, 2016. She was born January 20, 1939 to Clarence Herman Frank Schultz and Emma Alivina Wiese in El Reno, Oklahoma.

She married Robert Van Craig, a sailor, and was proud to be his "navy wife," becoming a member of the Navy Wives Club. Betty was an elegant woman; she was old fashioned, always helped others, and loved her family dearly. She also loved dogs – specifically Pete and Cleo – and was a talented seamstress, making clothes and quilts, and later sports banners for her grandchildren's sports teams. Her hobbies also included going to garage sales, singing, country/western dancing, and polka music.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Van Craig; son, DeWayne Lee Craig; and sister, Bonnie Points. She is survived by her children, Dennis Craig and Anita English; grandchildren, Samuel Paul Zerbe, Justin English, Jennifer Craig, Maranda Wright, Kayleigh Craig, Caleb Craig, and Cole Craig; great-grandchildren, Sarayah Wright, Terry Wright Jr., Kade Wright, Violett Zerbe, and Jazalynn Craig; nephew, Dan Points; and her fur babies, Pete and Cleo.

Visitation will be Saturday 11-8 and Sunday 8-8. A funeral service will be held Monday, October 24, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
